As a Business and Retail Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education to students pursuing careers in the business and retail industry. This role requires a combination of practical experience in business and retail, strong teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering students' professional development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating an inclusive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Implementing effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive and productive learning experience for all students.
- Facilitating hands-on learning opportunities that simulate real-world business scenarios.
- Developing and administering assessments to evaluate students' comprehension and application of business and retail principles.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic and professional development.
- Staying informed about current trends, developments, and innovations in the business and retail industries.
- Participating in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification.
- Substantial practical experience in the business and retail sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in business and retail environments.
