Title: People Data Analyst

Salary: £42,579 per annum

Contract: ​​​​​​​ Permanent

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week (we are open to reduced or compressed hours in line with Crisis’ Flexible Working Policy)

Location : The People Team is based in London. Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’s Hybrid Working Policy (usually one day a week in the office)

About us

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

This role is an exciting opportunity to drive forwards our approach to people data at Crisis. Working closely with the People Manager (Systems, Data and Operations) to design and define our analysis of people data now and play a key role in developing our newly created function in the future!

About the role

This is a new role created owing to the ever-growing importance of people data across Crisis. You will join a talented and supportive team with the opportunity to benefit from our inclusive flexible working practices.

You will lead on report creation and analysis of people data for projects across our People, EDI, and Wellbeing Teams, such as the implementation of a new wellbeing staff benefits or analysing our inclusiveness through our recruitment processes. You will provide core insight and evaluation into the effectiveness these projects which have critical importance to Crisis and our mission to end homelessness.

You will also present your findings to stakeholders across Crisis, working with them to develop and design their analysis to ensure the most effective insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Finally, you will work as part of the Systems, Data and Operations team to promote and encourage correct use of Crisis’ HR data and data recording amongst HR colleagues to ensure that all information is recorded in line with best practice, ethical considerations, and statutory requirements.

About you

You will need experience of independently analysing data and designing a diverse suite of dashboards for multiple audiences, confidently and clearly communicating these findings both in writing and verbally.

PowerBI and Excel experience in a data analytics role will also be fundamental to this role, as these are the business information tools used at Crisis.

You will enjoy a high level of responsibility to manage multiple projects, therefore organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders are also key.

Although experience of working with data within a human resources function would be desirable, it is not a critical requirement of the role, but a willingness to learn and interrogate people data, through a HR lens, is key.

You may have experience in HR data analytics, data analytics generally and/or data specialist roles
