Job description

Working for a family run business based in Llanelli, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the parts department. The company are 40 years young and most of the staff who work for them on a full time, permanent basis have been employed for decades. This is not a revolving door type company where staff tend to leave. The company are a well-known and reputable main dealership of premium HGV Trucks and therefore require someone adverse in HGV parts and would therefore suit someone with strong HGV parts experience who is looking for an opportunity for career growth.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 0830-1700, you will be required to work one in two (every other) Saturdays from 0800 until 1200 noon.

Pay will be c.£27k DOE plus bonus plus overtime at time + half plus excellent benefits and perks.

Candidate:
– Must be a team player and have prior experience of working in a similar role within a busy department
– Will be computer literate (Intermediate Excel, Word & Outlook minimum)
– Ought to possess excellent communication skills especially on the phone as well as excellent customer service skills
– Would have prior work experience working in an parts department
– Should have commercial vehicle experience
– Experience on Autoline / ADP / Kerridge dealership systems ideal however full training will be provided
– Can work on own initiative under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
– Could possess an in date HGV Class 1 licence
– Will be willing to load and unload vehicles, wrap pallets, neatly store parts in the stores
– Might have an external Counterbalance Forklift Truck training and certificates
– Must have a valid UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and endorsements
– Should have a steady career history and be able to provide relevant references
