Job description
U-Educate are looking for a Pastoral Assistant to provide an empathetic and supportive service to our Southampton schools.
This role will also provide support to teachers in a variety of activities with the sole aim to enhance and help improve the experience of students.
Key skills needed for this role:
• Experience of working with young people in a school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Reliable, tactful, diplomatic and able to deal with confidential and sensitive issues.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Flexible approach to working and commitment to ongoing service and personal development.
The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-16-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team.
