NN1 Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic Transport Planner / Coordinator for our client based in Moulton, Northampton.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transport planning or coordination.
- A strategic thinker who can juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and other departments within the business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to tackle any challenges that arise in the transportation process.
About the role:
- Salary £29,000 basic
- Monday to Friday schedule with 9-hour shifts,
- Starts between 8am – 9am.
- on-call / out-of-hours paid extra
- Plan and coordinate transport routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor vehicle tracking systems to track the progress of deliveries and address any issues.
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and support throughout their routes.
- Liaise with clients to address any transport-related concerns or special requirements.
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency measures.
