Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale D: £20,552 - £20,896 pro-rata per annum (£23,500 - £23,893 per annum full time/full year equivalent)

Starting ASAP

Fixed Term: until 31st August 2024

Working Weeks: Term Time plus 1 week (39 weeks)

Charles Darwin Primary and Nursery is seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our team at our thriving academic and inclusive school. The administration assistant will provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, teachers, students and parents in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner.

The main responsibility of the role

-To provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, teachers, students and parents in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner.
-To work within a team, leading on specific areas of responsibility as directed by the PA, e.g. reception duties, parental communication and attendance.
-To provide flexibility to enable the School to run effectively and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

-Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
General or administrative experience
-Fully competent at using ICT
-Confident in use of Google suite and/or Office 365
