Job description
We are committed to delivering an education that provides students with the relevant skills and experiences to prepare them for further education and the world of work, but also to develop their character to become fully fledged members of society.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and committed teacher of Spanish, with some French or German, to join our successful and forward-thinking Modern Languages Faculty. This represents an excellent opportunity for someone who can teach Spanish to KS5, with French or German to KS3. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with a love of their subject and with the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently. We are looking to appoint a colleague who will maximise the best outcomes for our students, who has high expectations and who can inspire Nobelians. ECTs are welcome to apply, and we will be happy to discuss the support we can offer you as you continue your professional development.
Our excellent MFL faculty offers French, German and Spanish to A-Level. We have had students receive Oxbridge offers in each of the last three years in MFL and are placed in the top 6% in the country for languages according to 2023 GCSE attainment.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all of our students and staff. Following an interview and a practical assessment, appointment will be subject to satisfactory recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals.
To apply, please contact Suzanne Crow, Head’s PA ( [email protected] ).
Closing Date Friday 15 March 2024
Prospective candidates are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible as the school reserves the right to close the advert should we feel able to appoint an appropriate candidate.
