Job description

Do you want to use your passion and skills to help others? 

At HMP Liverpool, we are looking for someone with vision and passion to help service users.  

As a Prison Volunteer Recovery Support Volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with Recovery Coordinators within HMP Liverpool, assisting them in their caseload management, supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, risk management plans and undertaking one to one work.  

 

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

 

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Volunteering at Change Grow Live

At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential.  

You will also be supporting service users moving towards release from custody by working with other agencies to ensure support is in place for addressing substance misuse and or recovery ,  

Working within a secure prison environment can be challenging but a rewarding experience, you will be provided with all the training and support needed to undertake this role.
