Job description

Grade: NJC SCP: 29 to 32 (£37,336 to £40,221), plus annual pay rise as awarded by the NJC and Local Government Pension Scheme. Plus Generous Local Government Average Salary Pension Scheme
Contract Period: Permanent
Hours of Work : 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Leave Entitlement: 23 days per annum, plus two statutory days, plus bank/public holidays.

Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Town Hall & Arts Centre Manager to provide leadership in the creation of an Arts Strategy for the Council and town, building cultural and creative energy, and to put together a mixed programme of live theatre, shows, events and cinema.

Areas of day-to-day responsibility include, acting as Creative Director, managing the Town Hall and Arts Centre, ensuring day-to-day operations are covered by a duty manager at all times and to ensure Bridgwater Town Council provides a safe, welcoming venue for the public and performers alike, accessible, and inclusive to all of the community, valuing and promoting diversity and equality in all that the Council does.
