PrincipalAWS Platform Engineer
Location: Cheltenham / Remote – 2-3 days per week in Cheltenham
Salary: £110,000-£130,000
SC CLEARANCE
This role requires SC clearance and in future will require DV clearance. Upon joining Cloudscaler, we will undertake SC clearance checks so you must be eligible to pass SC clearance and, ideally, DV clearance.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for Principal AWS Platform Engineers to provide thought leadership to our customers on AWS Landing Zone and cloud transformation best practice. Thismeans you needexperience and a deep understanding of the challenges of cloud transformation and how to overcome them, experience of working with landing zones across multiple enterprise customers, and expertise of the core AWS platform services.
Our Principal Engineers need to be thought leaders, masters of their craft, as they work very closely with senior customer stakeholders to define technical strategy and direction of cloud programmes.
What you’ll be doing
You will be working closely with our customers’ senior stakeholders, leading them through complex cloud transformations, using your experience and expertise to deliver best-in-class AWS platforms, operating models and security models.
