Job description
- Position: Quality Control Inspector
- Salary: £25,000
- Location:Slinfold
- Hours:Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.15pm Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
My client based in Slinfold are looking to recruit a Quality Control Inspector to inspect parts ready to be despatched.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts recording and reporting results
- Assisting with assembly when required
- Operate within company guidelines
- Undertake other quality control functions where necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret technical drawings essential.
- Previous experience of inspection and quality control within an engineering/small batch assembly environment preferred.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy essential.
- Sound knowledge of the use of mechanical and optical measurement instrumentation desirable.
- Familiarity with BS EN ISO9001 quality standard.
- Experience of basic computer data entry an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
- Flexible and adaptable in approach.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
