Job description

iO Associates is looking for an onsite Manufacturing Lineside Engineer , to work at the Broughton site for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors.

You would be responsible for utilizing their expertise to uphold precise standards, ensuring the punctual, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of wings.

Locations: Broughton, UK

Daily rate: up to £35 per hour Inside IR35

Working pattern: Onsite

Contract duration: 12 months with possible extension

A successful candidate will have:

• Aerospace/Automotive background preferred
• SAP experience
• Effective stakeholder management
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Customer-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Engage in project work to resolve persistent challenges and explore future enhancements.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on production tooling to meet required build standards.
• Act as a liaison between operations and broader manufacturing engineering functions, minimizing disruptions, and supporting root cause analysis.
• Drive process improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Proactively identify and address issues, emphasizing continuous improvement and preventive resolution.
