Ref #: BH-3963 Location: Central London Salary: £50000 per annum Sector: Acute Care Type: Permanent Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated ITU/HDU Sister/Charge Nurse for a leading private hospital based in Central London. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a salary of up to £50,000 and excellent benefits.
The hospital offers a range of inpatient surgical services, including complex care with specialities such as orthopaedics, urology, robotic surgery, and acute medicine. You will work with a supportive management team who are passionate about staff engagement and the patient experience. This ITU Sister/Charge Nurse post works predominately long shifts between 08:00-20:00. There is no on-call requirement.
As the ITU Sister/Charge Nurse, you can expect to:
- You will take charge of their ITU Unit, coordinating the nursing team (15-20 nurses) and supporting them within their professional & clinical development.
- You will guide shifts, organise rotas and mentor junior members of the team, deputising for the ITU Manager as needed.
- Alongside your leadership responsibilities you will continue to clinically support patients.
To apply for this Sister/Charge Nurse role, you must be an NMC registered nurse and have extensive clinical experience working within a ITU/HDU setting. To achieve the top end of the salary you will have experience working in a private healthcare setting and supporting with management of an ITU.
