Senior Site Manager - Energy from Waste - 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities: - Has overall responsibility for ensuring Company HSEQ Management Systems are maintained, reviewed and implemented on site and that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
- Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
- Leads and manages an interdisciplinary team
- Contributes experience of putting into effect standardised methods in order to identify complex problems
- Develops guidelines and requirements
- Ensures realisation of existing contracts with site team to meet HSEQ, time and budget goals for each scope
- Collaborates within site and project team organisation and specialist departments
- Documents and traces non-conformities, deviations and claims
- Schedules final erection inspections
- Provides overall assurance that actions arising from HSEQ inspections and audits are completed, closed and effective
- Ensures waste management is carried out in accordance with compliance requirements
- Co-operates and exchanges experience with colleagues responsible for products and other project teams and departments
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC/HND in building engineering
- Institute of Civil Engineering (ICE) and The Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE) Chartered status
- Several years‘ experience in construction of large complex industrial plants as Senior Site Manager / Commissioning Supervisor
- Must have Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent
- Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) or equivalent
