Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North West as an interim Democratic Services Officer. The client is looking for someone to start on a full-time basis, as soon as possible. The role is for a period of 3 – 4 months initially, with the strong likelihood of further extension.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting democratic engagement and member development to enable modern and efficient democratic processes
• Providing in-person attendance at Committee meetings – Council, Executive and Planning

Candidates must have worked in an Authority recently, within the relevant post, and have proven experience within Democratic Services. The Authority is willing to offer a flexible, hybrid arrangement.
