SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / WEB DEVELOPER

Join our group of software / digital businesses delivering SaaS products, online booking solutions, and websites to the tourism & attractions industry.
If you’re a PHP Developer / Web Developer with a detailed understanding of object orientated programming and experience delivering scalable code and you’re looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic developer to work within our development team on a range of SaaS and website projects for many leading brands in the leisure industry.

The role is hybrid, involving a combination of 3 days working from home and 2 office-based days each work, working from our attractive office in Pynes Hill, Exeter (including free, private parking and excellent public transport links).

THE ROLE
If you’re a Developer with an enthusiasm for gooddesign, we would love to hear from you. You'll be working with PHP,Go,MySQL, NATs, Kubernetesand many other cutting edge toolsto build and enhance market-leading SaaS products and websites. You’ll have an eagerness to continue learning and developing your skill-set, along with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Experience working with SaaS products is desirable, but not a pre-requisite for the role.

• PHP, SQL,Cache, Queues and Event Driven Architecture
• Laravel
• CSS / CSS3 and HTML / HTML 5
• Javascript / jQuery
  
• Experience with Object Orientated development
  
• Experience working with design patterns
• Knowledge of unit testing
• Ability to demonstrate code that goes beyond the use of frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter or WordPress.

Most of our team of 60 work on a hybrid basis. Our offices are in Exeter, South West England, but how often each team member is here depends on their role, their department, and their preferences. After all, life isn't linear and your job needs to reflect that, so where possible we'll adjust your hours to suit.

• Salary from £28,000 up to £36,000, dependent on experience
• Discretionary annual company bonus
• Nest Pension scheme
• 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays: After 2 years the allowance increases by a day per year up to 30 days plus Bank Holidays.
• Birthday off – we don’t want you working your birthday! (or TOIL if it falls on a weekend)
