Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Specialist School – Term Time
Hours : 5 days per week (37.5 hours)
Location : St Helens
Salary : £32,579 – £39,231 per annum

Compass Associates are working with nationally recognised, industry leading care provider to recruit for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at a specialist school and independent specialist college in St Helens with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to young people with Autism. You will be working for an established, stable, and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care and education.
SERVICE :
The Role will cover two sites, St Helens, and Newton-Le-Willows, with a total of 90 students ranging from 5 to 25 years of age. The distance between sites is roughly 15 minutes by car. Theaim is to ensure equality of opportunity in access to all aspects of the curriculum regardless of the nature and degree of disability of the young autistic person.
ROLE :
Are you dynamic, committed, and flexible with an interest in working and developing skills in a specialist well-resourced setting? Do you have experience in assessment, facilitating 1:1 and group sessions to develop fine motor, gross motor, sensory motor skills and functional / life skills? Do you have experience of working with autistic individuals and/or learning disabilities and/or with children/adults in an education, health, or care setting? Would you like to be involved in training and facilitating staff and other groups? Are you committed to your own professional development?
