Whole School Principal | Teach Abroad | August Start

I am seeking a strong qualified and experienced Principal to join my client in China, Asia. My client is a very established and presitigious groups of schools looking for someone that ideally has experience being a leader in Asia and has a good understanding of the values and culture of the region. This is for an August start for the right candidate and a great oppportunity to grow your career.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Bi-lingual school and someone that has worked in Asia.  You will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of the school and work along side the Chinese Principal who will a valuable member of the school and the local community.

The school follows the UK National Curriculum of England and Wales and like many top schools in China, offers a broad range of subjects to its students to ensure they are high achievers and global citizens of the world. Alongside the UK national curriculum, the school also offers the Chinese National Curriculum. Teaching is done in both English and mandarin.

The school is medium sized, focusing on quality over quantity with under 750 students

Requirements to Apply

1. Have a Bachelors degree ideally in education
2. An M.Ed or NPQH/valid Principal license is mandatory
3. Preference given to those that are located in China/Asia or have experience of being a leader in China/Asia
4. Stable work experience preferring with a proven track record (ex
5. A MINIMUM of 10 years teaching experience and at least 5 years in school leadership or part of the SLT team
6. Have strong interpertsonal skills and a good understanding of the culture in China
7. Be tech-savvy
8. Competent in using MS Office Suite
9. Due to COVID, candidates that have also led/deployed online learning will be preferred

Salary Package

Additional:

**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
**Offering a secondary subject, this would help your application
