About Our Client
Our Client are a leading Travel and Tourism business based in Plymouth, offering their customers multiple solutions for travel. Looking for a NOC Manager to lead the Security, Network and Cyber team across EMEA.
Job Description
The Network Operations Centre Manager (NOC MANAGER) will be:
- Escalation point for the Network and Security Team.
- Ensure cyber security of the Group's information system.
- Participate in the definition of the Group's security policy with the CISO.
- Implement the security policy within the Group's activity.
- Ensure good communication and exchange with internal and external teams on cyber security topics (system servers, digital workplace / office automation, architects, QSE).
- Guarantee the best protection on workstation environments, systems, network servers, and cloud data centre, as well as on outsourced applications or services.
- Manage network and security elements: SDWAN, switch, firewall, antivirus, operating system update tool (WSUS etc), security certificates, VPN, satellite, cloud, data centre in conjunction with the systems teams.
- Manage projects relating to Cyber and Network security.
- Manage audit projects and recommendations for changes in infrastructure, network, cyber, wifi, digital workplace.
- Ensure the maintenance of network and cyber environments in operational condition and optimisation.
- From a cyber point of view, address the vulnerabilities published or received by the CISO and the DPO.
The Successful Applicant
The Network Operations Centre Manager (NOC MANAGER) will have a proven track record across operational and management skill sets. Lead from the front, happy to get hands dirty
Network: - WAN and LAN and Wifi networks, satellite network, on-board and off shore network.

- Cyber security - mulitple firewalls
- Maintenance and life cycle of all equipment, Documentation
- Development projects (solutions)
- Service Delivery
- DRP / Continuity plan
Cyber: - Application of Security patches
- Monitoring and organisation of debt reduction
- Traceability and log files, Documentation
- Maintenance in optimised operational condition
- Development projects
- Service Delivery
Team management: - Development of team, 121's etc.
- Delegate workloads to Network, Cyber and Security team.
What's on Offer
Salary is negotiable between £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
All travel is fully expenses other than petrol.
Challenging/rewarding environment.
