Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary school in Saxmunham
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing classroom support and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons. You will work closely with students to ensure they receive the individualised support they need to thrive in a primary school environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing resources and supervising students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
- Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies to support student engagement and progress.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students and support their overall development.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and activities, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements: - Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude towards supporting children's learning and development.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the classroom.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
