Hays Legal are delighted to represent a global consulting leader in health, talent, retirement and investments. This exciting organisation is currently recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join their legal team in Belfast.

Your new role
An exciting opportunity to join a global business as a commercial paralegal with opportunities to develop your career.
Reporting to the company’s Legal Counsel, you would work closely with the business and Legal team on day-to-day contractual and strategic administration matters. Duties include:

• Draft, review and negotiate client agreements and ancillary legal documentation.
• Carry out legal research and providing legal updates to the team.
• Develop internal know-how and precedents for use, including maintaining template agreements and implementing process developments.
• Support the wider Legal team with internal projects and various contractual matters.
• Develop and assist with internal legal training and business updates.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate for this great role, you will have a law degree and experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, alongside:

• Document drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with an ability to deliver clear and pragmatic solutions.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations well.
• IT skills – experience with Microsoft Office.
• Natural enthusiasm and looking to develop a long-term career as a commercial/contracts paralegal
