Our Clients Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join them as a dedicated Orthopaedic Nurse.

The Orthopaedic Nurse will follow the Orthopaedic patient pathway through Outpatients up to and including the patients pre-operative assessment, working closely with the Orthopaedic consultants & patients will build a rapport with you as the dedicated Orthopaedic nurse.

They work with some of the areas most experienced Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Physicians to deliver tailored, personalised care. They are proud of the positive patient feedback they receive and are currently undertaking refurbishment of our in-patient bedrooms following significant recent investment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with the Outpatients team to support Orthopaedic patients that are following a surgical pathway
• To caseload patients through the pre-operative assessment process to ensure a seamless patient journey
• To be available to review patients aftercare as required

Who we are looking for

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Post-graduation experience
• Have been employed in Orthopaedic/Surgical setting for 6-12 months
• Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care.
