Due to growth, they are keen to appoint a Senior Accountant/Auditor to join their friendly team. If you’re a team player, looking for the opportunity to grow and work with a variety of clients, this could be the opportunity for you.

As Senior Accountant/Auditor your duties will include:

• Leading audits including liaising with clients on-site to complete the work
• Overseeing a team of 2-3 both on site and in the office
• Planning of audits (ideal but not essential)
• Preparing accounts on behalf of clients across the portfolio.
• Inputting draft accounts onto the internal system.
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements to clients.
• Assisting staff with any ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
• Helping to train/advise junior members of staff as required

Skills required:

• Previous experience of working within an accounting role within practice or industry.
• Quality organisational skills.
• AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications.
• Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, reconciling creditors.
• Reconciliation of PAYE and VAT.
• Processing and inputting VAT figures.
