Job description

Job Role: Product Data Administrator

Location: Bolton (BL3)

Salary: circa £22,500 to £27,500 depending on experience

Hours of Work: 37.5 - Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30pm

Our client are a proud bathroom manufacturer and distributor. They have a heritage of innovation and a wealth of experience supplying the leading names in bathrooms for over 37 years.

Main Purpose of job:

As Product Data Administrator your purpose will be to ensure all aspects of product master data are maintained accurately within our systems, including lifecycle management.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Create & maintain all aspects of master product data within group company systems, including BOMs for both sale and production purposes.
- Establish a close working relationship with our own factories and supply chain partners to ensure full ownership of data integrity.
- Support the implementation of new product development through a defined process.
- Ensure products are correctly managed to meet the requirements of the identified route to market.
- Identify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, and benchmarking against competition.
- Perform analysis on sales of existing products, identifying best sellers and poor performers, and translate into a lifecycle pattern.

Skills, Knowledge and Personal Attributes:

- Knowledge of SAP preferable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organise work effectively and efficiently, must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time and have a strong attention to detail.
- MS Excel & Word to Intermediate level.
- Good knowledge of bathroom products (preferable but not essential)
- Confident, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Can work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Able to drive through change and present innovative ideas.
- Proactive, self-starter with a practical and logical approach.
