Job Description

My client who are a well-established and successful Refrigeration sub-contractor are recruiting for an experienced Installation Refrigeration Engineer covering various contracts.

Based in the North of England however, there may be travel involved UK-wide as required (70% of the work is in the North East/ North of England).

You will be responsible for the installation of pipes and all associated refrigeration systems

Duties:

• Carrying out the installation of all plant and all associated refrigeration equipment.
• Work closely with the Supervisor and Case Fitters to ensure all works are delivered within the agreed SLA’s.
• Working with CO2, packs, multi-packs, cassette and supermarket cabinets.
• Working with chillers and large packaged refrigeration systems.
• Provide support for installing new supermarket refrigeration systems or refurbishment of current systems.
• You will be responsible for ensuring technical and health and safety measures are adhered to.
• Working as a team to ensure the delivery service is completed as per SLA agreements.

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Qualified Refrigeration Engineer.
• City & Guilds FGAS 2079.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of piping of all associated refrigeration equipment.
• Working with CO2.
• Knowledge of plumbing and piping particularly within supermarket refrigeration.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Able to work under own initiative, with minimal input.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
