Job Title: Lead Primary Teacher
Location: Belmont Primary School, Rossendale
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent; Term time only

Due to our growth in service, we are looking for an experienced Lead Primary Teacher to join our fantastic team at Belmont Primary, Rossendale.
About the role
As Lead Primary Teacher, you will assist the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in developing the school as a high-quality specialist provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
You will uphold the ethos, aims and values of the school, its policies and codes of practice at all times; and help manage the structure and organisation of the school day. Also to manage the school in the absence of the Head of School and Deputy Head Teacher as appropriate.
To develop, plan and co-ordinate the development and the curriculum across the whole school through organising, managing and briefing staff, supporting effective teaching and establishing systems, processes and procedures to fulfil requirements and achieve results.

Belmont Primary School is an Independent School which offers boys aged between 5 – 11 years who have Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenged and additional complex behaviours to access a tailored education that suits their needs.
We have a dedicated staff team who provide outstanding education and we understand that a lot of our students have been excluded from mainstream education and often have a very negative attitude toward school. As a team, we take an interest in their lives and help to nurture their learning.
