Job description
Driver Hire Perth are looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join our client based in Perth. As a vital member of the team, you will engage in diverse projects within the construction, food, and beverage industries.
This role demands a hands-on approach, and we are specifically seeking candidates with expertise in stainless and carbon steel welding. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and hold certifications in various weld procedures and possess a solid background in steel fabrication, encompassing folding, cutting, punching, and finishing. Advantageous skills include experience with stainless steel pipework and architectural projects.
We are particularly interested in individuals with a track record in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of agricultural machinery and food processing equipment, including conveyors, raw material bulk handling, and related industrial services.
Collaborating closely with Workshop Supervisors and teammates, you will be involved in a variety of pipe, sheet, and structural steel fabrication activities, as well as equipment repair tasks. This role extends beyond our workshop to on-site projects throughout Scotland, where your commitment to safety and high-quality work will be paramount.
