Our Building and Estate Management Team deliver block management services for apartment blocks and freehold estates nationwide. Ensuring that our customers live in safe environments and can enjoy their homes, we take responsibility for all aspects of service to the common areas of the development we manage.
We are now looking for a Building Manager to join our Building and Estate Management Team in Bracknell on a permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
The Role
As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our development in Bracknell.
Working alongside a Property Manager, you will develop a detailed knowledge of your property and build a strong rapport with both the residents on-site as well as the client. You will act as the first point of contact for residents and manage their parcels & postage.
You will monitor and manage all contractors, raise work requests on the system and check that works have been completed before approving invoices.
Who we’re looking for.
An experienced professional. We’re looking for an individual with experience in a similar role and sound technical knowledge of buildings.
A knowledgeable person with deep expertise. You will need a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it applies to managing residential apartment properties and the ability to coordinate outsourced contractors.
An effective communicator. The property environment is fast-paced, and you will need to be able to thrive in a fluid environment and demonstrate fluent English communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar and a strong level of IT literacy, especially with MS packages.
