This role involves designing and supporting technology solutions across data storage design, ETL, integrity and security domains. As a Data Architect, you'll collaborate with business and tech teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture. You'll contribute to all stages of solution architecture development, focusing on principles, standards, and patterns for technology migration, integrations, and IT ecosystem evolution.
To start with the role, this person will be going in and developing/roadmapping change for their current Data Warehouses. This candidate will be collaborating across the business working with both technical teams and the business side. We aren’t looking for someone who has come from a Big Data background but for someone that has come from a smaller company/scale up who has strong skills in Azure.
We are looking for a Data Architect with experience in;
Comprehensive Data Solution Design: Possess strong knowledge and practical experience in designing and maintaining comprehensive large-scale data-centric solutions.
Enterprise Integration: Demonstrated strong knowledge of various enterprise integration architecture patterns and technology options with a specific focus on data integration patterns and technology options.
Cloud and Data Technologies: Knowledge of cloud computing, data centre technologies, and networking technologies, with a specific emphasis on data-related aspects.
Configuration Management: Understanding of configuration management technologies applicable to data architecture.
Infrastructure Understanding: Strong comprehension of how technical systems, particularly those related to data infrastructure, operate and interact to ensure a stable and secure environment.
Multidisciplinary Proficiency: Proficiency in multiple infrastructure disciplines, including but not limited to Server (Linux or Windows), Network, Storage, Information Security, Databases, Virtualization, Operations, Telephony, and Automation Monitoring.
Advanced Technology Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in the administration and use of various technologies such as Windows Server, Azure Cloud, Active Directory, MS SQL, Oracle DB, IIS, Redhat Linux, Windows 7, VMware, and Exchange, with a focus on their data-related aspects.
The successful candidate will earn up to £100,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: Company pension, great pension, medical cover, numerous soft leisurely benefits. The team works on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a month on-site in their London office.
