**Upto £40k + £5,700 Car Allowance**

Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers, as well as well-known organisations in the logistics and catering sectors. We are currently seeking to recruit an Course Developer to join the Mercedes-Benz UK Technical Training Team, based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.

The Role

The role of the Course Developer will be to help develop, update, enhance, and administer the suite of training courses delivered by the Mercedes-Benz UK Technical Training Team. Working as a part of a small Development Team, and with the support of the Training Delivery Team, they will design, create, and test, a range of automotive technical learning content for delivery via:

• Face-to-face instructor led training
• Virtual classrooms
• E-Learning

The Development Team will also collaborate with our in house Media Development Team to create bespoke film, animation, and live media content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create all course materials and training aids/resources
• Monitor and evaluate training courses to ensure they are current and effective
• Map out lesson content to achieve the desired learning outcomes and assessment criteria to Mercedes-Benz standards
• Produce all written content in line with production schedules, agreed deadlines and MB standards.
• Support the development of delivery schedule alongside Management Team
• Gather and consider delegate and Trainer course feedback to improve quality and effectiveness of training
• Gather and consider delegate and Trainer course feedback to improve learner experience
• Receive all new courses from MB Global Training, and adapt to UK requirements
• Deliver all UK Pilot courses
• Support with vehicle booking process for all F2F courses
• Develop, maintain and manage interactive workbook solution for iPads
• Support Trainers and offer guidance and solutions to problems as they arise
• Undertake other duties as reasonably expected

Skills and Experience

• Level 3 or equivalent Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (Essential)
• Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Experience and/or Professional Qualification (Highly Desirable)
• Existing Technical Training and/or Coaching experience, and linked qualification (Essential)
• Recent Technical Course Development experience, ideally gained in a manufacturer training environment (Desirable)
• Mercedes-Benz workshop experience (Desirable)
• Strong command of written English and an ability to present information concisely and effectively (Essential)
• Ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups, including managers, curriculum leaders, tutors and learners (Essential)
• Confidence to work independently and fit into a highly collaborative process (Essential)
• Experience of operating within external and internal quality assurance procedures (Essential)
• Highly organised working style, with strong attention to detail and an ability to work within time-sensitive schedules (Essential)
