Job description

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Van Driver to join their client based in Maidstone, Kenton a Temp to Perm position.

The role entails:

• Completing approximately 20 to 25 deliveries per day around London, Kent, and surrounding areas
• Heavy lifting will be involved
• Use of a PDA device
• Daily vehicle safety checks
• Loading/ unloading of your vehicle

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous multi drop experience is essential (Minimum 1 year)
• A full driving licence with a maximum of 3 points (minor offences only)
• Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Prior to commencing this role our client requires to conduct an interview with the candidate

The hours of the role are Monday to Friday working between 06:00am – 4:00pm (No Bank Holiday or Weekend work)

The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour + holiday pay. The full time salary for this position is £26,000
