Managing Director

Northern Ireland

Cast UK have been appointed to recruit a managing Director into a very established and successful business based in Northern Ireland. The division is part of a FTSE 100 organisation and distributes FMCG products across both Northern and Southern Ireland to the hospitality sector.

I am looking to find a strategic individual who is commercially minded and detail orientated in order to gain the most from the business. This individual will need to be a fantastic leader to inspire and engage the team.

Responsibilities

Developing the strategic plan for the business and monitoring the progress to ensure objectives are achieved in a cost effective and efficient manner.

Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally providing exceptional customer service and commercial opportunity for external stakeholders, key decision makers and customers.

Ensure the business is up to date with innovation to retain the competitive edge within the market.

Prepare and monitor the implementations of annual budgets, ensuring targets are met.

Promote an inclusive culture across the business, implementing equal opportunities policies and values within the workplace.

Develop talent from within the business in order promote and provide opportunities of growth for internal team members.

Communicate the vision and strategy to all direct reports, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their role in the success of the business.

Requirements

A proven record of success in senior level general or commercial management, preferably in a related industry

Excellent communication skills, with experience of managing major customers and contracts.

Strong commercial understanding with prior experience of P&L responsibility for a business with over 40million turnover.

Good understanding of both sales and procurement in order to help to develop the business on a strategic level.

An analytical and detail orientated person who has excellent problem solving skills.

Fantastic leadership skills with experience of inspiring and engaging the team.

Knowledge of the hospitality industry would be advantageous.

Remuneration
