- Your role is to deliver outstanding service and support to our instruments and customers. This includes performing preventative maintenance, safety repairs, installations, upgrades, and instrument
qualifications
such as IQ/OQ. - You will also resolve issues through hardware and software troubleshooting. Communication with customers will be via email and telephone to ensure resolution and follow-up, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate logs of equipment performance data, service records and spare parts stock.
- You will work with colleagues in the wider UK Sales Team to ensure the needs of the customer are met.
Qualifications
- To qualify for this role, you have a HND in Engineering or in a comparable field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotec instrumentation, field service repair, fluid control systems and system-level electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
- This role requires excellent computer networking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with flow cytometry and/or laser, or imaging systems is desirable but not essential.
- The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to travel up to 80% of their working time, including occasional international travel.
- The preferred location for this role is North London/Hertfordshire.
