About The Role
We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site.
You will be working on a rotating shift pattern 4 days on and 4 days off, 20:00 to 08:00, 42 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities may also include:
- Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service.
- Fire, security and building systems monitoring.
- Service area barrier control and traffic management.
- You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
- Ensuring your SIA license is with you at all times while on duty.
- To report any defect and/or incident to the Mall Supervisor, and carry out any required investigation.
- To administer First Aid as and when required & to attend all training and development courses as instructed.
- The ability to identify and escalate matters which require remedial action is critical in this role.
To succeed in this role you will need the following :
- SIA licence is essential
- Experience of working within both a reactive and proactive environment is essential
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
- CCTV - desired but not essential
