Lending Administrator - Remote

Job description
Pertemps are supporting a financial company who are is seeking four motivated and energetic candidates for the position of Lending Administrator on a temporary basis with the potential of going permanent. This position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities Reviewing loan applications and ensuring that they meet the company's underwriting criteria
Verifying borrower information and documentation, including employment, income and identity
Assessing the borrower's creditworthiness and ability to repay the loan
Determining the appropriate loan amount and repayment terms based on the borrower's financial situation and credit history
Making recommendations to the underwriting team regarding loan approvals or denials
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to lending, including responsible lending practices and consumer protection laws
Collaborating with other members of the lending team to continuously improve the underwriting process and streamline operations
Record customer information and communication accurately on the system
Respond to all emails in a timely and appropriate manner
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support all departments within the company
Essential Skills and Experience Excellent verbal communication skills
Experience in customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure
Eagerness to learn
Hardworking with great attention to details
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience in working for financial institutions
Experience in customer communication over the phone
Dealing with the customers from UK
Previous experience in credit or banking will be an advantage
