Job Description
The Ideal Transport Planning Supervisor who will be reporting into the Transport Manager & Director will have the following skills and attributes:
- Lead the Delivery Control team.
- Lead and direct the effective planning of the UK Logistics network; daily, weekly, monthly.
- Lead and support day-day order allocation, capacity & performance management of the haulier base.
- Lead and support day-day stakeholder relationships & expectations; internally (sales) & externally (customers).
- Lead day-day application of yard management systems and vehicle booking slot systems
- Ensure customer service level KPI's are met or exceeded across the customer base.
- Responsible for running reports on Customer volume to forecast
- Responsible for recording exceptional cost tracker
- Ensure UK transport cost base aligns to budget & forecast.
- Responsible for effective & efficient allocation of stock & stock rotation with compliance
- Commute to Chester
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Transport Planning Supervisor will have the following key skills and attributes:
- 3+ years of related Logistics experience.
- Background in transport planning and execution (preferably brewing)
- Strong team / line leadership experience in dynamic SC environments.
- Experience in managing complex transport networks
- Strong experience in logistics execution systems; TMS, WMS
- Strong experience in managing customer & supplier relationships.
- Strong experience in managing x-functional stakeholders.
