Project Support / Buyer

£35'000 - £40'000 + Training + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday (+BH) + Private Medical Insurance

This market leading company specialise in the design, development and delivery of commercial solar PV, EV charging and battery storage projects across the UK. They have thrived in recent years and have exciting plans moving forward, and as a result they are now looking to expand their team to facilitate future success.

In this role, the successful candidate will provide vital support to Project Managers and Operations Manager to ensure projects are delivered to high standards, on time, to budget. This will involve producing bill of materials, buying activities ensuring the best price from suppliers and subcontractors, planning and scheduling workforce, materials and equipment, and general support where required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a project coordinator role or similar. You must have knowledge of Solar PV systems with experience working in the sector. You must also have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines, and experienced using project management software.

The Role:
*Support Project Managers and Operations Manager to ensure efficient delivery of commercial roof-top Solar installations
*Produce bill of materials from solar PV designs
*Buying activities ensuring the best price from suppliers and subcontractors
*Plan and schedule workforce, materials and equipment
*Help to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to high quality
*Work to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
*Office based role

The Person:
*Buying experience within the construction, M&E or renewable sector
*Competent using CRM systems and MS Office packages
*Highly organised, ability to prioritise tasks and work towards deadlines
*Excellent communication both written and verbal
