Job description
We are looking for three Manufacturing Engineers to join our team based in Leeds, to act as technical lead for allinternal medical parts manufacturing developments.
About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer will support the design and development of newmanufacturing processes and procedures with the New Product Introduction team, to ensure they are optimised for Business As Usual (BAU)manufacturing and meet required standards.
You will work with shift teams in trouble shooting and resolving production manufacturing issues during the early stages of manufacture and industrialisation. You will also identify and delivercontinuous improvement opportunities to ensure production processes are optimised and comply with all the latest SHE and regulatory standards.
Your experience
We are looking for someone with extensive industrial experience in a technical moulding,plastic parts regulated manufacturing environment, ideally 1 st tier contract medical device manufacture. You should also haveknowledgeof industry relevant standards and compliance requirements.
Our ideal candidate willhave good communication andinfluencing skills, as well as excellent technical report writing, data manipulation, analytical and integration skills.
A degree in a technical/engineering discipline or the equivalentis essential for this role, along witha Green Belt qualification, or a similar vocational qualification or experience.
