Senior / Building Surveyor
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £45k - £60k + Excellent Benefits
Full - Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday
The Client:
Our client is a prominent consulting firm, offering extensive services in building surveying and project management.
The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you play a pivotal role in conducting full building surveys and acquisition surveys on site and within the office.
Responsibilities:
? Undertake dilapidation inspections and create photographic/condition schedules.
? Handle planning applications and Party Wall Matters.
? Demonstrate cost management skills and oversee contract administration.
? Prepare reports, specifications, and drawings for building repair, refurbishment, demolition, and re-building projects.
? Tender projects and provide post-tender analysis.
? Uphold principles of quality, health & safety, and building regulations.
Requirements:
? Previously worked as a Building Surveyor or in a similar role.
? Ideally, possess 4 years experience in the industry.
? Sound technical surveying knowledge.
? MRICS or working towards it.
? A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
? IT literate with skills in Microsoft Office and other software packages, including AutoCAD.
? Possess an aptitude for mathematics.
? Have a car and a valid UK driving license.
