Job description

My client's Agile Application Development team consists of several sub-teams that collaborate to maintain and enhance my client's information systems and infrastructure. These sub-teams are IT Applications, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, IT Services and IT Portfolio and Project Management.
My client is constantly creating innovative systems to improve the work efficiency and satisfaction of their staff and customers. Their goal is to provide a better IT experience and boost staff and customer productivity.
The team has identified the need to expand their capacity to meet the growing demand. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the .NET platform and Microsoft Stack technologies, and be able to use them to develop, maintain and support enterprise-level solutions both individually and as part of a team.
This role is suitable for a web developer who has prior experience in a similar position. It is crucial that the successful candidate is passionate about the technologies they use and eager to learn how to apply them in an enterprise setting. The candidate will work two days in the office (Liverpool) and three days from home.
Experience:

• Demonstrated examples of previous work showcasing your skills.
• 2-4+ years of experience as a developer.

Required skills:

• Excellent knowledge of C#.
• Strong familiarity with the .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in SQL-based databases and SQL Server (T-SQL).
• Good understanding of Azure services.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio (latest version).

Additional & Desirable skills:

• Awareness of OWASP security principles.
• Knowledge of web development standards, including HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Vue or Angular.
• Awareness of ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) practices.
