GSL Education is looking for a Drama Teacher for a prestigious secondary school and sixth form in Greenwich . In this role, you'll inspire and support students who are interested in acting, storytelling, and theater. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons that captivate students' imaginations.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school's extracurricular drama programme, including school productions and drama clubs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A passion for drama and a demonstrable ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
