Job Description:

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead this centralized team, reporting to the Commercial Director of team.blue UK & IRE. In this role you will lead a talented team which includes performance marketers, content writers, marketing automation and paid search specialists focused on the UK and Irish market.

You will establish the marketing team’s role in our aggressive growth plan. Be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution for all team.blue brands in UK/IE, you will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, a deep understanding of the technology industry, and the ability to lead a high-performing marketing team.

As the Head of Marketing, your role is critical in driving the growth and success of our business by effectively acquiring and retaining customers in a performance-focused manner within the unique context of our recurring revenue services model.

Key responsibilities:

As the Head of Marketing for our web hosting and software business in the UK and Ireland, your role is pivotal in driving performance-led marketing strategies for customer acquisition and retention within a recurring revenue services model. Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.

• Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing initiatives.

Performance Marketing:

• Design and execute performance-driven campaigns across digital channels to maximize customer acquisition.

• Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize campaigns and ensure a positive return on investment (ROI).

Customer Acquisition:

Implement targeted and efficient lead generation tactics to attract and convert potential customers.

• Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with customer acquisition objectives.

Customer Retention:

Develop and execute retention strategies to enhance customer loyalty and reduce churn.

• Implement personalized communication and engagement campaigns to nurture customer relationships.

Recurring Revenue Model:

Leverage a deep understanding of the recurring revenue services model to optimize marketing initiatives.

• Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive subscription renewals and upsells.

Brand Management:

Oversee the brand image and messaging to ensure consistency and resonance with the target audience.

• Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling and effective marketing collateral.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, product development, and customer support teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive continuous improvement.

Market Research:

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings.

• Use insights to adapt marketing strategies and stay ahead in the dynamic web hosting and software landscape.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.

• Regularly track and report on budget performance against set objectives.

Analytics and Reporting:

Utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

• Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Working hours:

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.

You will be given complete training from Monday- Thursday in our Worcester office.

After training, you may request work 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, as per agreement with your line manager.
