An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dedicated team at a prestigious private school in Rainhill. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students across all key stages, with a particular focus on those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, and special educational needs (SEN), especially Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work across all key stages, providing support to students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, and SEN needs.
• Guide and support students with SEMH needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct 1:1 sessions and small group interventions to address specific learning needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement tailored strategies for student success.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a focus on supporting students with SEMH needs.
• Strong understanding of dyslexia, dyspraxia, and SEN, with the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
• Proven experience in conducting 1:1 sessions and small group interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
