Your new role, what's involved?
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for the Green Riyadh Project.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate quality requirements into project objectives.
- Conduct regular inspections of civil works, landscape elements, and infrastructure components to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee material testing and inspection processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure that documentation is organized and readily accessible for audits and reviews.
- Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to established quality processes and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Verify compliance with contractual requirements, local regulations, and international standards related to civil engineering and landscape works.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance.
- Identify and document non-conformance issues, collaborating with project teams to develop corrective action plans.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to address identified issues.
- Provide training to project teams and contractors on QA/QC processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the project.
- Evaluate the quality management systems of suppliers and contractors.
- Collaborate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure that suppliers and contractors meet quality standards.
- Work closely with the risk management team to identify potential quality risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate quality-related risks
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on project quality.
- Prepare regular quality performance reports for project management.
- Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team to ensure that QA/QC processes align with safety and environmental standards.
- Verify that project activities comply with relevant regulations.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in large-scale civil engineering and landscape projects.
- Certification in Quality Management is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction materials, and testing procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations.
