A leading HVAC services provider specializing in delivering top–tier solutions for Critical Infrastructure sectors, including Data Centres, Retail, and Manufacturing, HVAC & Facilities Management.are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager
The Role
As an HVAC Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our HVAC projects nationally. This position involves direct responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
This is a Subcontractor position
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, execute, and finalize HVAC projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third–party contractors or consultants.
– Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
– Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
– Develop full–scale project plans and associated communications documents.
– Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
– Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
– Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
– Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
– Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
– Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
– Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
– Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
– Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager, ideally within Critical Infrastructure sectors such as Data Centres, Retail, and Manufacturing.
– Strong technical background in HVAC systems and project management.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
– Ability to travel, mixture of office and mobile site management.
– Full UK driving licence.
– Strong problem–solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
– Relevant qualifications in Project Management or HVAC technology/engineering.
– HNC Level in Building Services/ HNC in Mechanical
– CSCS, SMSTS, DBS Check
