Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Wellbeing Physiologist to join our team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between 08:00 am and 18:00 pm on a rotational basis. This role primarily involves nationwide travel, with an expectation of at least 4 days of travel per week. Expenses for accommodations and travel will be covered.

This position is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for up to 12 months from the start date. Applicants must possess their own vehicle to be considered.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our onsite and remote health and wellbeing services, including Wellbeing Assessments, Health Promotion activities, and Health Coaching. Working closely with our clients, you will ensure alignment with their business objectives while upholding our organisational goals and values.

We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, including sports science, sports therapy, nutrition, sports rehabilitation, and exercise physiology.

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, or Sports Therapy, along with previous experience in a related field such as sports, medical, health, wellbeing, or fitness.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct lifestyle and clinical assessments of patients.
• Provide evidence-based advice tailored to each patient's health profile and stage of behavior change.
• Develop and implement action plans based on treatment prescriptions, adjusted for the stage of change.
• Set realistic goals and coach patients towards achieving them.
• Support patients with lifestyle-induced diseases in making positive and sustainable lifestyle choices.
• Provide assistance and reassurance during medical tests.
• Deliver evidence-based exercise sessions to groups.
• Utilize specialised equipment for clinical physiological tests.
• Record and analyse physiological data.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment according to company policy.
• Interpret clinical data and assess patients' clinical risk, escalating as necessary.
• Adhere to company policies regarding data protection and confidentiality.
• Attend client sites to deliver wellbeing solutions.
• Support the planning and delivery of educational workshops and webinars.
• Design proactive health promotion campaigns.
• Coordinate logistics for events, ensuring proper setup and equipment placement.
• Develop innovative strategies to enhance preventative services in Occupational Health.
