My client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Category Management Expert to join thier dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizing spend across assigned categories.

6 month contract

£550 per day via umbrella

Hybrid - 2 days per week in Warwick / Castle Donington

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to define category goals, analyze spend patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to maximize value.
• Lead strategic sourcing: Manage tender events effectively, ensuring transparency and efficiency while securing the best solutions.
• Build and manage supplier relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration to improve cost, delivery, quality, and explore new sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts: Develop and scope regional contractual agreements aligned with customer needs and expectations
