PETA are proud to be working with Hi-Tech Precision Engineering to recruit and train a CNC Machinist Apprentice. This opportunity is a full-time role based at their site in Havant. 

Training to be provided:

As a CNC Machinist Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship. Throughout your Apprenticeship with Hi-Tech, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach.
You will attend PETA’s Havant training centre for off-the-job training, one day per week for 39 months of the apprenticeship.
Overall duration 45 months.

The job role is to start ASAP and training to start in April. Not suitable for school leavers 2024.

  About the role:

At Hi-Tech Precision Engineering you will be known as 'The Modern Apprentice' in your role, they are passionate about training engineers for the future. 
Joining the team as a modern apprentice, your role will be focused on learning about highly skilled, complex precision work. You will be learning to machine components for lots of sectors, from specialist materials using CNC machine tools.

Apprenticeship Progression:

Hi-Tech Precision Engineering have a great track record of supporting apprentices in their business. Over time, the role will develop to offer challenging new responsibilities to stretch your capabilities and understanding. Upon completion of your apprenticeship programme, there is the potential to be offered a full-time position.

Our ideal CNC Machinist Apprentice:

An apprenticeship is all about learning new knowledge, skills and behaviours, therefore, to be considered for this role of a CNC Machinist Apprentice, you must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in engineering and a willingness to learn.

About The Company
Hi-Tech Precision was formed in 1999. Having initially set up in a small 1300 sq ft workshop, Hi-Tech has grown into a thriving supplier of high precision machined parts and sub-assemblies into a variety of blue-chip industry sectors.
Now located in a 9,000 sq ft factory in Havant (Hampshire), employing day and night shift staff.
