Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Leicester (Hybrid)
£50,000 - £55,000 + Progression + Private Healthcare + Pension + Holiday

This is an excellent opportunity for a 3rd Line or Infrastructure Engineer looking to join a business that offers great internal progression opportunities to management. Within this role you will become a key member in contributing to the organisations success and be a key factor shaping your division for years to come.

This company is a globally renowned blue-chip manufacturer who are part of a larger group with many of the companies being household names, they are investing massively in their infrastructure and network systems. Due to this and huge growth across the company they are looking to take on a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to guide the team and improve the efficiency of this area.

In this varied role you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure of the company, while maintaining and developing the network systems. This role would suit a driven individual who wants autonomy and ownership of their role with the opportunity to progress in their career utilising this stepping stone towards securing a management position. A crucial aspect of this role will be guiding junior staff members and assisting with upcoming projects to lead the way and showcase your expertise in this field.

The ideal candidate will have a natural instinct to be a leader with a want to better others around them. They will need experience with Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, and Virtualisation experience such as VMware. You will also have a strong understanding of Network technologies such as WAN/LAN and components including routers, firewalls, and switches. Lastly, having proven experience of policy integration and rollouts will assist you in being successful within this role.

The Role:
* Infrastructure / Network Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS…)
* Administration and development of O365, Active Directory, VMware
* WAN and LAN connectivity and components such as routers, firewalls and switches
* Policy integration and rollouts

The Person:
* Proven track record dealing with infrastructure
* Strong understanding of Network Technologies and components
* Confident with cloud applications
* Previous experience with policies
