Job Title: Cover Teacher
Location: Blackpool, United Kingdom
As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of high schools by providing effective cover for absent teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment, and upholding the high standards of education.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers.
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
Providing support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic progress.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching styles and classroom dynamics.
Flexibility and availability to take on short and long-term assignments as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
